Yoga works to “unite’ or “yoke” body, mind and spirit.
Yoga has been practiced for thousands of years. Poses, breathwork and meditation are components of a yoga class that help “unite” or “yoke” the body, mind and spirit bringing you to the fullness of your being. There are many types and styles of yoga practice.
I offer gentle flow classes, Curvy Yoga, Yoga for All classes, chair yoga, children’s yoga classes, yoga nidra and restorative yoga classes. Private classes are available, too. I am happy to come to your home or place of business to provide classes there. Let me know what you are looking for and we can make it happen!

I have thoroughly enjoyed being part of Susan's yoga classes. Each month there is a different theme and each class is different from each other. She has listened to my health concerns and given me individualized modifications for poses; she also provides modifications for the rest of the class that may make them more comfortable for each individual. Being part of her classes has provided me with more flexibility, better balance and is helping increase my strength. After each class I am feeling relaxed and happy that I participated.

I contracted with Susan to come to our private home on Thursday mornings in the month of July to teach my family yoga outside in our yard. Susan was responsive and communicative via text and we worked together effectively to organize a day and time that was mutually beneficial. Susan was always on time for our 730 a.m. start, and her confident and comfortable manner put even the beginners at ease. She gently and gradually increased the challenge as our weeks progressed and always offered alternative positions. Susan was sensitive to our varied family's needs, from our 69-year-old with double hip replacements to our 23-year-old body lifter. Her peaceful spirit imbued each session and left all us feeling that not only had we engaged in something great for our bodies, but for our own spirits as well. It was a pleasure to work with Susan and I would not hesitate to call upon her again!

I have been practicing yoga consistently for about 10 years, many of those with Susan. Her practice is gentle, non-judgmental, and encouraging. Since the start of the pandemic, she has offered weekly yoga via Zoom. This has been great to do in the comfort of our own home yoga space and wonderful for those who might be shy about practicing within an in-person group.
